How to Reserve a Happy Bag
The season of Happy Bags has arrived again this year. Until last year, I used to stand in line at the store to buy one. This year, however, due to the outbreak of the new coronavirus, an advance reservation system has been introduced for the first time.
- Reservation period: December 18, 2020 – December 30, 2020 (limited quantity, so it will end as soon as the limit is reached)
- Reservation conditions: Limit one reservation per person for each item / No reservations by phone / Payment upon reservation
To make a reservation, do so at a store. You can make a reservation from the opening time of each store. I went about two hours after the store opened, and reservations were still available!
The Happy Bag lineup is “2,000 yen”, “3,000 yen”, and “5,000 yen”. You can choose each item and character.

This time I chose My Melody for “2,000 yen”, Hello Kitty for “3,000 yen”, and Cinnamoroll for “5,000 yen”.

I’m going to unpack the 5,000 yen Happy Bag. The character I chose this time is my favorite ” Cinnamoroll “! The 2000 yen and 3000 yen Happy Bags did not contain any Cinnamoroll, so I hope there will be a lot of them.
The 5,000 yen Happy Bag came in a tote bag. The 5,000 yen bags are quite firm and large enough to hold an overnight bag.The 2000 yen and 3000 yen bags were decorated with many Baby Angel characters, but this time it was angels, not babies. But this one is cute, too.

Angel Cinnamon is also very cute!
Cushion in the “5,000 yen Happy Bag”
This is the feature products of the Happy Bag, the two types of Cinnamoroll cushions. They are quite soft and small, about 20cm in size. They are quite soft and small, about 20cm in size. They can be used as pillows or as elbow rests. The smaller size seems to be just right for a pillow for plush toys. I’m sure my daughter’s plush toys will love it.
Daily necessities in the “5,000 yen Happy Bag”
From the top left: “lap blanket”, “handbag”, “3 kinds of tupperware”, and “KIKILALA slippers”. I was really looking forward to the “lap blanket,” “handbag,” and “3 kinds of tupperware” because I saw their pictures on the announcement.
The “lap blanket” is quite fluffy and very warm. The lining is pink. I think it’ll come in pretty handy for desk-bound folks!
The “handbag” is solid and can hold more than just a lunch box. It may be the best bag for a little shopping. However, please note that it does not have a zipper.
These “3 kinds of tupperware” are just so cute! Heart-shaped tupperware is hard to find, so it’s sure to attract attention. If you pack your lunch in these tupperware and have lunch time, it will be quite a wonderful time.
The “KIKILALA slippers” are the same size as the “Bad Badtz-Maru slippers” that were included in the 3,000 yen gift bag. The “KIKILALA slippers” are made of far-infrared heat insulation and are quite warm. The size was written on the tag as a women’s size (25cm). When my husband (foot size 26cm) tried them on, he said, “I can wear them if I step on the heel, but if I wear them all the way up to the heel, the toes are pretty tight”.
Stationery in the “5,000 yen Happy Bag”
There was also a lot of stationery in the 5,000 yen Happy Bag! Pompompurin’s W Clip 5P” “KIKILARA’s Metallic Ink Pen 5P” “Pochacco’s Mobile Accessory Case” “KIKILARA’s 5-Design Letter Memo” “My Melody’s Toolbox” “Hello Kitty’s Cutting Masking Tape” “Sanrio Characters’ Masking Roll Stickers”, “KIKILARA’s Wide Deco Rush”, “KIKILARA’s Pen Pouch Spider”, “Hello Kitty’s 5 Pocket A4 Clear File”!
There were so many items in the bag, but not a single Cinnamoroll item. I was very disappointed. However, there were many items in the bag that I would not have bought myself.
The “KIKILARA Metallic Ink Pen 5P” are also included in the 2000 yen Happy Bag, so it was covered, but the others were not! This is amazing!
